Victor was a professional award-winning photographer for 20 years operating studios in both Forest and Grand Bend, Ontario. Living on the Ausable River Cut near the Pinery Park for 25 years, he had a perfect backdrop for portraits.
Being an avid boater on Lake Huron sparked his interest in nature, landscapes, and Lake Huron sunsets. Victor picked up a brush and converted his easel that held photos into his new support for canvas. He paints in both oil and acrylic media in his New Studio/Gallery at 14 Main Street in Grand Bend featuring over 200 original paintings and 100 photographic matted images very popular with international art collectors and galleries.
Victor paints using the Alla Prima technique, which is also called Wet-on-Wet technique, where the painting is completed in one sitting.
At www.victoralderson.com he has posted paintings by the four seasons, driftwood ships, nature photography and past award-winning photography.
